Asheville police investigating drive-by shooting that damaged business
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Asheville Police Department announced that it is investigating a drive-by shooting where a bullet struck a business.
Officers report responding to reports of a gun discharge on the 100 block of Tunnel Road around 10:39 p.m. on Tuesday.
A bullet hole was found in the glass door of a business although a suspect was no longer on scene, police said.
According to officers, witnesses described the vehicle involved as a gray SUV.
Police report no one was injured during the shooting.
