The 2024 Billboard Music Awards are about to hit your TV screens.
One of the biggest nights in music, the annual BBMAs honor the year’s biggest artists, albums, songs, producers and songwriters, newcomers and music legends across multiple genres, based on data that tracks artist’s performance on the Billboard Charts.
In 2023, Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen were the big winners with Swift taking home 10 awards including Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist. Wallen, meanwhile, won Top Billboard 200 Album for his record One Thing at a Time and Top Hot 100 Song for “Last Night.”
Tate McRae, meanwhile, gave an unforgettable performance of “Greedy,” her highest-charting Billboard Hot 100 hit.

How to Watch the 2024 Billboard Music Awards?
The BBMAs air on Thursday, December 12, at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX and Fire TV. Viewers can also tune in on-demand on Paramount+. Performances will roll out across Billboard.com and on Billboard’s social media channels throughout the night.
Who Is Hosting the 2024 Billboard Music Awards?
This year’s host is actress and comedian Michelle Buteau. Her acting credits include Happiest Season, Always Be My Maybe, Survival of the Thickest and Isn’t It Romantic. Buteau’s Netflix special is titled Michelle Buteau: Welcome to Buteaupia.
Who Will Perform at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards?
Performers include Coldplay, Shaboozey, Jelly Roll and Linkin Park — the rock band’s first time playing an award show with Emily Armstrong since the death of lead singer Chester Bennington in 2017.
Who Is Nominated at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards?
Zach Bryan leads with 18 awards and 21 total entries. Last year, he took home wins for Top New Artist and Top Rock Artist. His record American Heartbreak also won Top Rock Album and Top Rock Song went to his hit single “Something in the Orange.”
Swift follows Bryan as a finalist in 16 categories with 17 total entries. She is also the most decorated female BBMAs artist of all time.
Sabrina Carpenter, meanwhile, is a first-time finalist in 9 categories including Top Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Billboard Global 200 Artist and Top Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) Artist.
First time BBMAs finalists include: Teddy Swims (8), Tyla (8), Benson Boone (6), Shaboozey (6), Tommy Richman (4), Falling in Reverse (3), Forest Frank (3), Junior H (3), Chappell Roan (2), ENHYPEN (2), Muni Long (2), and The Red Clay Strays (2).
